Barite Grinding Mill and Barite powder market2016-09-29
In international trade we often classify finished product of barite grinding mill-barite powder into three grades, as follows.
1.Well drilling grade
Density no less than 4.2g/cm3; BaSO4 no less than 92%, weight of 74μm screen residue less than 3% ; weight of 43μm screen residue less than 5%.
2.Chemical industry grade
BaSO4 more than 95%, Fe2O3 and SrSO4 no greater than 1%, traces of CaO and CaCl2 are allowed.
3.Paint grade
High whiteness required, the size essentially reaches 43μm (325mesh)
The Grades of Barite Powder in International Trade
For barite products, the general requirement is that the content of BaSO4 is not less than 90%; the less content of SiO2 the better, which should be less than 5%; the content of impurity Fe2O3 should be less than 1%. For different uses, the size and quality requirement are different. Examples are shown in the following 4 tables.
